A friend contacted me asking for some Christmas cards. As I had been ill for a few months, I was unsure if I could get them made in time. Luckily enough I had some good days and got them finished will with in the expected time. Friend was really happy with the final outcome.

Birthday Card for a family friend
I really LOVE how this one turned out in the end. I struggled for a while trying to get the layout to work, but in the end it just worked.

Custom card: A Fisherman's 70th Birthday
A friend contacted me one night and asked me to make a card for a friend of his. I said yes automatically. The card was for a 70th birthday to some one who loves fishing.
When I make a custom card I try to make is personalized to the recipient, and this one was going to be a bit interesting. I must say I was very happy with what I came up with. The customer who ordered the card has already mentioned that if the person he got the card for doesn't like it he will keep it for him self.

Custom card: A distance birthday
Earlier in the year I became a pen pal to some one I knew in passing back in Perth. She now lives in Brighton, England and her birthday is coming up, so I created this card for her. She is a vet and loves animals and nature (I think), I was also trying out some different styles of card creation.
This has a bit of everything in it, from Meg's Garden papers to Kaisercraft wood flourishes and some Prima Market embellishments as well.
This is how the twist easel card looks when it is closed.

Christmas is coming: Meg's garden paper
I came across some Christmas papers from Meg's Garden last week, and after going through Meg's Garden Blog, I thought I was give making a card not in my usual style, something a little more fluffy and pretty. To be quite honest I think I did rather well, and I like the card, now I need to figure out who it send it to for Christmas.

Christmas Cards: Custom made
February 2012 I started a journey of learning so much more about my self. I was struggling with my studies and after my older brother was diagnosed with Dyslexia I look to getting assessed. After a day of phone around Adelaide looking for a psychologist who would not charge me a fortune to get assess, I got an email back from Benita Ranzon. Benita is an educational Consultant and an absolute angel, she has helped me firstly with my diagnosis and also with my fight with Centrelink when I got a unreasonable debt. So as a thank you I offered to make her some Christmas cards for her this year.

Thank you
A week and a bit ago I went and saw a very intuitive and helpful naturopath who has, after years of consultations with other health care providers, put me on the right path and I haven't felt better ever. With all the neuroplasticity I am going through at the moment, having a better idea of why my body is rebelling and what can be done to help and improve my well-being.
To show my appreciation I sent off a thank you card which was well received. Here is what I made Denise James.

In memory of a father
I got word at the start of this week that a very good friends father had passed away. Being so far away, I desperately trying to figure out what I could do to help, even though I knew there was nothing that I cold do. The friend buys cards from me for family members, so I figured I would make him a sympathy card. What I ended up making was a little bit different. The final creation was more a photo stand than a card.

Mini Album: The Shindig
I made a mini album for a friend who was visiting her sister last month in Perth. The purpose of the visit was a rather special celebration, and after the sister saw the mini album I had made, she wanted one for the photos of her celebration. This is what I made for her.
