Commissioned work: Book of Shadows

A friend commissioned a book of shadows after she filled the last book I made for her. She had a size requirement as she didn't want something as large as my tome but A5 was just not going to be big enough. There was also a request that the cover be dark if not black, she sent through some examples of what she was after which I made my own interpretation of. The end result was a cover with a raised frame and a mostly black textured cover, I had a fairy cameo especially for her as well.

The video below covers the dimensions and page count along with some other information.

Friendship Canvas

Hello lovely crafters and followers. I am sorry I have not been around much, life and my situation has been getting the better of me, however things turns for the better this week. I have been busy.

New project is a custom order canvas that a new friend in Queensland commissioned for a dear friend of hers. Her directions were, Pink, flowers and pretty. This is what I came up with. Both the buyer and recipient LOVED it, which I am so happy about.

I used my Forgotten Meadows collection that I printed one sheet as an A3 to give me a base. In my stash I found this beautiful piece of antique pink lace that I had not found a project for in a number of years. And what do you know, it looks perfect. I printed out some of the ephemera from the Forgotten Meadows Book Kit too and added that in.

I am really happy with how it all turned out.

A gift to a mother

Hello creative people and welcome again to my blog.

Today I want to share with you a mini album I made for a customer. She was ordering this as a special birthday present for her mother's milestone birthday. After going through the color options and things her mother likes, I created the mini album.

The hardest part about this order was that the customer lives in CANADA, but her mom lives in Western Australia. Thankfully technology was there to help with YouTube and private listed videos. I also made a video flip through for you.

The album was given to her mother this week which now gives me to opportunity to show it off to me followers.

Here is a flip through, I you love it at much as my friends mother did when you got it.

A touch of Elegance

Hello all and welcome to another post on my blog.

A few months back I was asked to my a card for a friend of my brothers. Knowing that the recipient liked Art Nouveau and that she has a wonderful expressive side I created this for her.

I have had the Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante for a while and it wasn't until now that I saw the roses in the one paper. I was a great easel card to make I am really liked it. What do you think?
