Hello everyone, well those that read my blog.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I released a collection that was a recycle from The Gentleman Collection that was released last year. This collection, called 1920, has no graphics in the paper design and features only the backgrounds, with their grungy goodiness.
I decided to have a play with the collection to see what I could do with it, and pulled out my stamps, embossing powders and heat gun. I had SO much FUN! I ended up sharing little sneak peaks throughout the day on instagram.
Well here it is!
I had a Graphic 45 Kraft envelope booklet in my stash, that I could not figure out what to do with, until now. I turned it in to a travel album where you would slide the photos from a trip in to the envelopes.
The great thing about having the papers as only the background textures, is you can use what ever stamps you have to add to the papers.
I printed out the 1920 Cardmakers set on to A4 190gsm paper on my very modest Epson inkjet printer. The prints came out so well, really happy with that.
This looks amazing!! Love those papers and love what you did with them!! Awesome!! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret. I am really happy with how it all turned out. Even the home printing on the 190gsm paper.
DeleteThis is really nice. I like how you have made the pages flow with a travel theme. Good job.
ReplyDeleteThanks Meredith. Not much of a challenge considering I seemed to have a large amount of bits and bobs in my stash which i didn't know about :). I even sold the booklet to someone who REALLY liked it.
